Holy Headbands!
This is the FANtastic headband I put together real quick to wear during the game yesterday. Even though we had a loss, wearing this kooky hair piece made me feel a little better about life. It inspired me to dance and scream a lot, but unfortunately that wasn't enough to get a win! Next year it will have to be twice the size and I think I'll add some glitter, more sass and maybe a dance routine.
Above (clockwise from top): A variety of Dr. Suess inspired headwear, including a headband, a hair clip and a pin-on weft of Who hair; and much like the good doctor himself would, I try to invoke a feeling of whimsy in all of the work I do. But I especially made it a point to go all out on this batch, as these may be used in an upcoming production of "Horton Hear's a Who!"

Creating The Crazy Craft Ladies!
I have been working on the making the crazy craft ladies themselves for the past couple of weeks. I had a lot of fun with the floral wire trying to make the frames just right, after all, they need to represent! I want them to be really extreme, so their limbs are nice and lengthy.
I wrote down exactly how I made them, which is new for me, just in case when I get to the finishing stages and completely screw up, starting over won't be so sad. FINALLY, I have learned after years of blood sweat and tears from trying to make things over from square one, that a craft journal full of project know-how will make a crafty life easier! With everything written down, maybe I'll make more of them! Millions of them! Yes! They will do our bidding! Have them swarm craft stores and fairs alike! YES!!!! We'll never miss a sale on ribbon or glue again! All of the craft things shall be ours!!! Muah ha HAAA!!!!!!!!! . . . Ok, alright . . . ahem, uh can't wait to get they're over sized heads on!!!!
Have a nice day!
